❹ Dessert:

TAINORI CHOCOLATE DACQUOISE WITH RICE CRISPY, Lemon Curd, Dark Chocolate Ice Cream
The warm chocolate lava cake was good but nothing special. This one was the low point of the night for me - but still great.

HAZELNUT MOUSSE WITH GIANDUJA, Milk Chocolate, Caramel Ice Cream
Hazelnut Mousse wrapped in chocolate shell also came with a yummy chocolate Pocky. The mousse itself was light and airy but nothing special. The homemade caramel ice cream tasted complex and good.

CILANTRO POACHED PINEAPPLE WITH COCONUT, Lime-Rum Gelée, Piña Colada Sorbet
The pineapple jelly with crispy cookies were excellent.

This thin & crispy pineapple cookie was the best!

Picture below is Petit Four

Usually I don't like anything with coconut but this one was very good!

Their petit-four selections were cute & absolutly amazing!!! I bought them home for my next morning breakfast with coffee. Wow~~~these cute petit fours were still amazing delicious even after they has been demolished.

Freshly baked madeleines                  ↗The green one was macaron la!

Warm mini madeleine, as always, was perfectly made! Spectacular!
The wait staff let's us pick one each...and then leaves us the whole bundle. These were the best madeleines ever! OH~baby madeleines~ Can I take you home with me?

Wine pairing: Tokaji « 5 Puttonyos », Royal Tokaji, Hungary, 2003. Their wine pairings are well thought out!
Yo~Trust me...try to have meal with a consistent multiple breads such as the olive roll, the raisin, the mini French baguette, the garlic focaccia, the sweet butter roll, the roasted nut slice, and walnut slice, you'll fell your belt popped & realize what is called "Food Coma"at that night...ahahaha~

Why do I love Daniel so much? Is it just because of the French accents and charming French waiters?

Yes, I admited that the French accents is very adorable. Probably because I Paris (and yes, the waiters served us were all from French~ ). But there are more reasons are the following:

⓵ I am a huge fan of Daniel Boulud Ahaha~ ( I've dined at Café Boulud & DB Bistro Moderne a bunch of times.)

I would said he is highly regarded in the chef kingdom since I have watched "After Hours With Daniel Boulud" onDaniel restaurant official website & HD. Once I received his 15th Anniversary Celebration Event, how can I say no?

⓶ The service was phenomenal. We very enjoyed the attentiveness and impeccable service. (Did I mention about taht they prepared a purse stool for my digital camera? Daniel Restaurant is definitely a posh! My purse &  got their own stool!!!)

⓷ How about synchronicity of presentation service? Frankly, I can't tell you how many people we had serving us throughout the night. But it did take 3 servers to serve you your one dish (Yes, they did that completely through the whole meal!). Don't tell me this service didn't tip you off!!! At least I was very impressed by the service.

⓸ Best Madeleines I ever had! I've been meaning to come here FOREVER! (Café Boulud also offers madelines)

⓹ If you want to have "Experience of the World's Finest Dining", Daniel would be your best choice in term of value. Even you were a vegetarian, No Worry, Daniel just as the finest gourmet restaurant in the world that offers a whole separate vegetarian menu for you (a good restaurant always think dignified for the growing number of vegetarians out there).

⓺ It's hard to find fault with Daniel. Literally every detail, every dish & every member of the wait staff was perfectly on point. All in all Daniel remains one of New York’s most sumptuous dining experiences. Compare to Per Se, the Daniel experience to hit all cylinders and match or mood and surpass our expectations. He has 4 stars for a reason & is the best chef in New York, hands down.

⓻ Best sommelier! Each course really well paired & I would recommend doing it.

Comment:

Pros: Adorable waiters, synchronicity of presentation service, good sommelier, warm friendly service that continued through the meal.

Cons: The food made me too full (even with "just" the 3-course prix fixe, I was still full 24 hours later. Yup...this is crazy).

Chance to come back: 100%

Daniel Boulud & Thomas Keller are my favorite chefs in States.
